Although the various Canadian immigration programs for skilled foreign workers have different criteria for eligibility, the basic requirements generally involve having a qualifying occupation, relevant post-secondary education or training, certain level of English or French language skills, being within a range of ages, and scoring enough points for specific factors (if a points system is used).
If you apply for the Provincial Nominees Program (PNP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) or Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) through the Express Entry system, you must also meet all of the requirements for Express Entry immigration to Canada, including filing an Express Entry profile, satisfying the criteria to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA), and submitting your Canadian Visa Application with all of the necessary documents and fees within 60 days after the ITA was issued.
Furthermore, all Canadian immigration programs require that everyone applying for a Permanent Resident Visa to Canada (i.e., the main applicant and any family members, if relevant) have good character, good health, and provide biometric data (proof of funds may also be requested).
The Canadian immigration consultant who we subcontract can review the details that you provide in our online Assessment Application, let you know if you qualify to apply for a particular visa to Canada, and guide you through each stage of the procedure to become a Canadian Permanent Resident.
